Universal Health Insurance- Yes!
I'm reading today's Projo & I see the blurb, "Carcieri budget cuts would drop health care for pregnant women in 'last resort' program." This after I was driving through Newport yesterday & saw a billboard encouraging women to get prenatal health care from the R.I. Dept. of Health. Boggled the brain.
I'd also previously seen this on http://www.rifuture.org/. Yeah, I always read them first. I want dirt! Sometimes I want news with opinion. Ummm, kinda like I do.
What does survey after survey show- Americans want universal health care. Now! With all those smarty-pants in D.C., you'd think they'd have figured it out by now. Ah, but there's big bucks & big business involved. Confuses the mind, don't cha know?
