Economic Crisis, Etc.

If you haven't been keeping up with this news & don't think that it affects "Main St.," boy, are you out of it. I'm going to post up some of my favorite links & I've already given you a book to read- "Bad Money."

It now appears that the guv is in the mother-of-all internal political battles- both Congress & the White House. Years of Reagonomics & Bushonomics have shoved them ALL into the "you made your own bed, now lie in it" sack by the American public. Nobody trusts any of them & the attitude of everything is just hunky-dory or fear, fear, fear, & we're the deciders has come back to bite them. Americans are ready to take revenge. Yeah, we may well be cutting off our noses to spite our faces, but we don't care.

Meanwhile the McCain gets pretty live-feed video (7-8 minutes into it) from his pre-appearance with hard-hitting reporter Katie Couric on the CBS Evening News while he was supposed to be taping with Letterman is all over the Internet. His last-minute cancellation did not sit well with Letterman. He told producers that he was suspending his campaign to rush back to Wash. to settle the economic crisis. They wanted him to at least send Palin as substitute, but no-go.

When Letterman's producers saw their own private live-feed of McCain getting make-up applied with Katie at the news desk when he was supposed to be with Letterman- they let him know about it. He then posted the live-feed for everyone to see. Liar, liar, pants on fire!

Katie is known for her hard-hitting questions. That night I listenened to them. What is your fav movie & when is it okay to lie to Letterman, oops! I mean the American public. Shame on her & all the broadcast journalists for asking such stupid questions.

And then there is the State news- windmill farms, Pell Bridge E-Z Pay, lousy Science test scores, etc., etc. It seems to be time to pay the piper. I'm having trouble keeping up with all of it and I have the time to do so. Good luck to the rest of you.

Meltdown seems upon us.
