Rep. Amaral Not Seeking New Term

See Sakonnet Times for the latest. He has represented an area in Portsmouth & Tiverton (not actually in this District, I believe), for many years. In recent times he has distanced himself from the Republican party by not being part of their caucus. He is the m.s. Principal in Portsmouth.

"The Republicans need to become more than the 'Just say no party.' We need to work more on solutions, not just opposition." He also complains about the Lege basically controlled by a small group of leadership.
