R.I. Legislators' Financial Disclosure Forms

Funny, I had almost forgotten about these forms that State legislators and other state officials from the three branches of gov't have to file yearly. And really odd is that these public records are not easily accessed. from the R.I. Ethics Commission webpage:

"All financial disclosure statements are public records and may be reviewed during regular business hours. The Commission maintains records at its offices for up to five years; records dating back beyond five years are held at an off-site storage facility. Copies of any financial disclosure record may be obtained at a cost of $0.15 per page. Additional costs for retrieval also may be charged."

Odd. It's almost like you can't get there from here. But use the site I've given you & you've got them for the last 5 yrs. You may be surpised (or not). Be sure to check out your local legislators.Enjoy!
