Middletown's Second Beach
Surf is low (my son refers to it as "Family Day"), with little seaweed, & water temp of about 66 -67, I think (yesterday). A little chilly, but not bad at all. Feels great on a miserable day like today. They used to post water temp but no longer.
Din't check out First & Atlantic Beaches, but it's probably much the same (could be heavier with seaweed, though).
Yesterday the gas co. was doing street work on Purgatory Rd. (by the Atlantic Beach Club). All kinds of slow detours. Try another way if you can. I'm assuming there must be a gas leak there, but don't know for sure. Major work!
Wear that sunscreen! Be prepared for crowds. I'm outta here.
