Thanks for the Compliments!

On behalf of the Newport Democratic City Committee, thanks for the compliments about our Voter Appreciation Day! We were quite pleased with the turnout to our first effort of this kind. The beautiful weather, great music, good food, and "neat people," as you put it so well, all made this a wonderful event! Thanks to the folks from Middletown and Portsmouth--and Providence (their mayor, no less), your presence helped make this so enjoyable. Let's all look forward to a bigger and better event next time.
