"Newport Daily News" Wins Awards

We're lucky to have a local newspaper. While we don't always see eye-to-eye, our newspaper is one of the few locally owned papers here in the state. Every year they win awards & this yr. was no different. This year they pulled down 12.

The awards went to the paper itself for coverage, along with specific reporters, editors, & photographers. Congratulations. I hope that you all get big raises! Your paper just keeps getting better & better. I won't say a word about your political endorsements (I'll just quietly think
about them).
