Newport Gulls

If you're looking for a fun night out it's hard to beat going to Cardines Field to watch intercollegiate baseball. These players are all outstanding. The prices are cheap! Tons of kids and everyone loves the mascot "Gully."
There's always games & various entertainments going on. Tonight they recognized the MANY volunteers that make the park & game work. Plenty of District 12ers were there. It sure beats watching repeats on t.v.!

Cardines Field is in the center of the city & looks great. You might want a seat cushion, though. Free parking at the Newport Center (across the street). How many cities still have a ballpark like this?
Go early for best seats (starts at 6:30) Come on down!
