This is my friend, Dennis' letter to the Editor in Projo. Dennis is a member of our healthcare advocacy group, "Newport County for Healthcare."

"Rhode Islanders need a comprehensive "universal" medical-insurance program similar to the one that our neighbors in Massachusetts will soon have. I had hoped that Rhode Island might be the "first in the nation" on this vital issue, but will settle for second if our legislators and governor have the will to hammer out a plan."
