R.I. Voting Rights

Here is a hand list of info about your voting rights. I regularly hear complaints from voters about everyone being told to take out & show their i.d. This is not legal! Ask why you are being asked to show i.d. You can only be asked for specific reasons, not just everyone arbitrarily. Ask for an emergency ballot if you are denied. Ask to see the polling supervisor or request assistance from one of the Party poll watchers. You can also call the Board of Elections or ask a police officer for assistance. The Board of Elections will respond immediately to your problem.

Vote! It's not just a duty, it's your RIGHT! So know what they are.
