Third Beach in the Evening

We spent a delightful evening just sitting here in our chairs having a drink and watching the sunset. There were a few families eating, swimming, and boating. It's beautiful, clean, & quiet. This is a cove and the water is usually calm. Plenty of moored boats to enjoy. There are bathooms and plenty of parking. A rental service was closed. An RV park is close by. At dusk there were a lot of birds feasting on insects, flocking, & then leaving for the evening. The beach borders a nature preserve. It is also next to a capped brownfield, but you probably won't notice it. Saw a deer & her bounding fawn there a few weeks ago. Be careful as you head to the opposite end of the beach. There is permanent pollution there. Such a tragedy, but this section is quite safe & quite lovely.
