230 years ago yesterday the RI General Assembly declared independence from Great Britian and was the first colony to do so. Too bad today's GA lacks the guts to take up the cause.
Maybe we need to replace them with fellows in white stockings and wigs.
Maybe Rhode Island needs an infusion of people who have come here seeking a better life as opposed to those who now seen to take their liberties for granted or worse yet, have sold them to the highest special interest group, err, bidder.
The fact that this blog entry has received no other comments is telling.
