Matt Brown Drops Out of R.I. Senate Race

Secretary of State Matt Brown announced he was dropping out of the race this afternoon & threw his support to former Attorney General Sheldon Whitehouse. Brown has been plagued lately with bad press due to out-of-sate donations & has trouble raising funds. He ran a good campaign & all the candidates (and the electorate) are better for his having tried.
