Laura Bush to give commencement address at RWU

When Laura became First Lady, librarians, esp. childrens' librarians cheered. Finally, someone who would speak up for childrens' libraries (esp. schools) & actually get us some funding. Boy, we were wrong! But we should have known this. No childrens' librarian would ever read a book to a group of kids & hold it like this. Kids can't see the pics unless they have a sideways head! Makes 'em mad!
